DISTRICT EDITOR: Sarah Crumpton Born and brought up in Dursley, I attended the local Primary and Grammar Schools, before leaving, aged 19, for pastures new! I married my second husband, Mike, in 1994. Although living in Stroud, after retiring Mike was invited to join the Rotary Club of Dursley, which he did in 2009 and I then joined Inner Wheel. In 2012, we returned to live in Dursley and have spent much of our time since reviving a somewhat dilapidated house and garden - very enjoyable for me - decorating and gardening being my favourite hobbies. With three sons, one daughter and 10 amazing grandchildren between us, Mike & I also have a busy family life. Before joining Inner Wheel, I was given an introductory leaflet with the words, 'FRIENDSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, FUN' on the front. I have been fortunate to find all three and have been able to take an active role within the Dursley Club over the past few years, serving as Newsround Editor, Treasurer and, during 2017/18 as President. 2018/19 will be my fourth year as District Editor and I look forward to keeping in touch with all Club Correspondents from District 10.
