Inner Wheel Club of North Wilts support for Swindon Foyer Stonewater Football Team Members of North Wilts held a very successful Bridge Drive towards the end of last year, and proceeds from this were donated to The Swindon Foyer. Between the staff and our members, we decided that some of this money would be used to provide the kit for their Futsal football team (named Stonewater FC). Swindon Foyer is part of Stonewater Housing Association, providing vulnerable and homeless young people, between the ages of 16 to 25, with safe, furnished accommodation. Each resident is given their own bedsit room, with en-suite bathroom and a fridge freezer. There are communal rooms for socialising and developing life skills. Training and support is provided by coaches, who can help them achieve their aspirations, as well as supporting them in accessing education, training and employment opportunities. The team kit was duly ordered during the summer, and, thanks to a donation from one of our members, we were proud to ‘fly the flag’ for Inner Wheel, by having our Inner Wheel Logo and club name printed on the front of the shirts. Good luck Stonewater FC!
